AFM has become the first air conditioning company in Guernsey to have its expertise and experience recognised by Mitsubishi.
The facilities management company has been accepted to as a business solutions partner (BSP) by Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning after demonstrating the highest possible standards in both equipment supply and workmanship.
‘The Mitsubishi Electric partnering programme is aimed at raising industry standards and ensuring that end-users can be confident that AFM as a Mitsubishi business solutions partner operate to market-leading standards,’ said AFM commercial director Darren Etasse.
Under the programme, as well as committing to a set of technical standards, AFM must also uphold health and safety policies and abide by a set of corporate social responsibility principles. It will be reassessed every six months to ensure standards are being maintained.
‘ As a BSP, we must meet certain standards in installation, commissioning, maintenance, health and safety, corporate social responsibility and refrigerant handling. It’s an excellent programme to be associated with as it means our customers know they are dealing with a company which is aware of its commitment to its customers and to the community within they operate. Being accepted as a BSP also means that Mitsubishi will train and promote AFM as part of its aim to drive the industry forward, ’ said Mr Etasse.
Being accepted as a BSP will mean that AFM can now also offer customers five year parts and labour guarantee on all Mitsubishi equipment.
